That's very nice looking photo. Which cave system did you see? I went through the Jeremy Room before. It was pretty cool.

Thank you!

This was in the Discovery Cave at Natural Bridge Caverns down by San Antonio.

It's pretty good, just really congested. *_*

Carlsbad Caverns is so much better though.

Congested? Yeah, the Carlsbad Caverns are pretty cool. I've also been to several other systems around South Dakota. The Wind Cave is pretty cool. I much prefer dead (or wind) caves. Cold, not hot, humid, hard to breathe like living caves.

Yeah, there were so many people that it was shoulder to shoulder at times. *_*

I've only ever been in living caves, but Sonora Caverns is by far the hottest I've ever been in. Funnily enough, it was snowing outside so everybody was in their sweaters, and our guide (sadly there was no self-guided tour) forgot his keys to get us out the door at the exit, so about 20 of us are waiting down at the exit in sweltering heat for about an hour until somebody g=could get down to us. xD

If you've been to Carlsbad, it is a dead cave. Technically, it's not completely dead, but it's not undergoing radical change, which qualifies it as a dead cave.

That would be horrible... I think most caves prevent that by only being able to get in and out with a set of keys that all guides must have, since no one else lets you into the cave...

I always heard it was still living... Hm...

Either way, I've been to it a million times. It's about 45 minutes away from where I live.
